<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish the transfer route of a multicast packet between different multicast domains. SOLUTION: When a transfer device 101 inside a domain 10 transfers the multicast packet to a transfer device 201 inside a domain 20, in the transfer device 101, the multicast packet received from a transmitter 111 is converted to a unicast packet and transferred later. In the transfer device 201, the received unicast packet is restored into original multicast packet and the transmitter address of this restored multicast packet is reloaded to the address of this transfer device 201. Then, the multicast packet having this reloaded address is transmitted to prescribed recipients 211 and 212.</p> |
