摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a the method manufacturing a liquid crystal display device by which a gap between a pixel substrate and a transparent substrate is made as deigned, and moreover no image display unevenness is created. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device, where an alignment part 1 is formed on a transfer plate 3, a printing liquid 4 is applied on the alignment part 1, the printing liquid 4 is transferred onto the pixel substrate 5 or the transparent substrate 7, by bringing the alignment part 1 side of the transfer plate 3 into contact with the pixel substrate 5 or the transparent substrate 7b to from an alignment layer 6, then a sealing agent 8 which encloses the alignment layer 6 and includes spacer balls 9 overlapping the peripheral part of the alignment layer 6 is formed on the pixel substrate 5 or the transparent substrate 7, the alignment layers 6 and 6 are made to counterpose to each other, the pixel substrate 5 and the transparent substrate 7 are stuck to each other through the sealing agent 8, so as to have a prescribed gap and a liquid crystal layer 10 is injected into the gap, where the alignment part 1 has protruding parts 2 upwardly protruding at the peripheral part thereof.
