PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily retrieve an arbitrary service history. SOLUTION: A service history preservation device in a communication device provided with an image pickup means capable of generating picture data is provided with a retrieval means which retrieves the telephone number, the electronic mail address, and personal picture data of a communication destination from personal information data at the time of storing data of the service history in the communication device and a service history data storage means which stores pertinent retrieval data obtained as the result of this retrieval and picture data photographed and generated by the image pickup means in a memory in relation to service history data on the basis of the result of retrieval in the retrieval means, and the service history is easily confirmed if the name, the telephone number, the electronic mail address or the like of the communication destination has been not stored in the memory, and thus the work efficiency for retrieval of an arbitrary service history is improved.
