PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a target in a blind area without needing complicated antenna control and two systems of receiving means for a receive side radar device. SOLUTION: This bistatic radar device is composed of a transmit side radar device and a receive side radar device separate from the transmit side radar device. The receive side radar device is provided with an antenna part comprising a plurality of element antennas; an analog-to-digital converter part for converting each element signal from a plurality of element antennas into a digital signal; a beam forming means for forming requested multiple beams from the digital signals from the analog-to-digital converter part; a beam control means for controlling the beam forming means so as to form a null in the azimuth of directly receiving a radio wave transmitted from the transmit side radar device; and a target detecting means for executing target detection processing by the multiple beams formed with the null.
