PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto injector for liquid chromatograph which can be used both for sequentially sampling (analyzing) many kinds of samples from a small-capacity vial and for repeatedly sampling (dispensing) the same sample. SOLUTION: In the analysis case, a valve 2 is turned to connect ports (a) and c, and the sample solution is sucked from the vial 8 by a needle 7. Then the needle 7 is moved to inject the sample to a weighing tube 15 from an injection port 10. In the dispensation case, the valve 2 is turned to connect ports d and c, thereby sucking the sacking the sample solution from a sample bottle 5 into a weighing pump 3. The valve 2 is then turned to connect ports (a) and c to inject the sample from the needle 7 into the weighing tube 15 via an injector valve 11. When cleaning, the valve 2 is turned to connect ports b and c and a cleaning solution is sucked from a washing solution bottle 4 to the weighing pump 3. The valve 2 is returned to discharge the washing solution, thereby cleaning the interior of a channel after the injection port 10. Moreover, the needle 7 is moved to a cleaning port 9 clean the needle 7 itself.
