PURPOSE: A rotation preventing device of an inner vessel for an electric rice cooker is provided to prevent an inner vessel from being rotated without having any difficulty in keeping the inner vessel of an electric rice cooker. CONSTITUTION: A rectangular hole is formed on the wall surface of an inner case(2) keeping an inner vessel(3) of an electric rice cooker to protrude a rubber roller(1). The rubber roller is laid thereon, and the lower end of a roller elastic plate is spot-welded to the outside wall surface of the inner case to arrange a roller rotatable shaft vertically to the inner vessel. When the inner vessel is kept vertically in the inner case, the rubber roller is rotated along the outer circumference of the inner vessel to move the inner vessel vertically. However, the rubber roller is not rotated horizontally. If the inner vessel is not kept in the inner case, the rubber roller is protruded to the inside of the inner case. The rubber roller is pushed to the outside of the inner case when the inner vessel is put into the inner case. Therefore, the rubber roller is closely adhered to the outside of the inner vessel to control the inner vessel.
