<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power saving method of an air compressor and a positioning method at the time when the air compressor is stopped and subsequently reoperated. SOLUTION: When a host device does not issue a command for more than a prescribed time, the air compressor is stopped and then, driven again. Data ahead of the last data of a magnetic tape by one piece of data is also detected and the last data is detected on the basis of the data.</p> |
