PURPOSE: A writing tool is provided, to improve the structure of an inner case operated with a push button together, thereby widening the range of material to be used in the inner case and enhancing the injection molding. CONSTITUTION: The writing tool comprises an outer case(3); a plurality of buttons(5) which are placed in a plurality of open holes(11) formed in the cut part of the outer case(3), and whose some part is exposed to the exterior of the outer case and the rest part is placed inside the outer case; and an inner case(9) which advances in the inside of the outer case to expose the writing core(7) kept therein through the terminal part of the outer case when any button among the buttons is pushed down. The inner case(9) is provided with a plurality of sloped faces(13) which is contacted with buttons(5) when the buttons are pushed down, and the sloped faces(13) are separated each another by a certain degree to the direction of surrounding of the inner case and placed in different places to the direction toward the axis of the inner case.
