PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling a running machine is provided, which prevents malfunctioning of the machine by radio controlling a controller controlling a drive motor on the instrument panel for controlling the speed of a walking belt of the running machine, and prevents contamination of the air in a room and generation of noise by using a brushless motor. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for controlling a running machine comprises: an instrument panel(30) consisting of a wireless signal transmission part(31) transmitting optical signals of infrared rays, a wireless signal receiving part(32) receiving and demodulating optical signals projected from the wireless signal transmission part(31), and an actual signal generating part(33) generating active outputs by reading signals demodulated in the wireless signal receiving part(32); a wireless signal control part(40) consisting of a transmission signal receiving part(41) receiving wireless control signals transmitted from the instrument panel(30), an inherent signal comparison part(42) comparing control signals received from the transmission signal receiving part(41) with inherent signal data stored in an inherent signal/control signal memory part(43); a control signal judging part(44) comparing and judging control signals received from the transmission signal receiving part(41) with control signals stored in the inherent signal/control signal memory part(43); an output driving part(45) which is active driven by active signals generated when inherent signals/control signals read from the inherent signal comparison part(42) and the control signal judging part(44) are conformable, and active signals generated from the wireless signal control part(40), and a controlled part which is acted by outputs of the output driving part(45).
