OPTICAL DISK AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the workably of an optical disk by reducing defects in the optical disk during manufacture, deformation of the disk during high speed usage and deformation and peeling due to changes in the disk with time during storage. SOLUTION: A replica substrate 102 with a recording film is obtained by forming at least one layer of a recording film 101 on the information pattern face of a transparent replica substrate 100. A pair of the replica substrate 102 each having a recording film are adhered on the recording film 101 side of each with an adhesive layer 103 into one body to constitute an optical disk. A chemical reaction type adhesive having such characteristics that the Shore hardness after hardened is higher than A30 and lower than A80 and that it is hardened in 30 sec to 2 min is used for the adhesive to adhere the pair of replica substrates 102 with recording films.
