PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white balance measurement unit and a white balance adjustment device that can especially adjust the white balance with respect to the measurement of lighting conditions. SOLUTION: The white balance adjustment device uses an integrated color filter and an LED as an optical sensor to measure the intensity of principal colors of a lighting light 40. The LED usually has a narrow reception band permitting the measurement of the luminous intensity of a marrow color band required for the white balance adjustment. The exclusive use LED having a corresponding color measurement band measures the intensity of each principal color of the lighting light. In order to produce an image with more natural color rendering, the white balance adjustment device is configured so as to use measurement values of respective intensities in the case of adjusting the proportional strength being the white balance of a corresponding signal caused by a detector for a camera such as a CCD array. |
