PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive optical pickup high in productivity, capable of obtaining a reproduced signal high in C/N and excellent in quality and a stable servo signal, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A substrate 101 is provided which has a light emitting element, a light receiving element, a diffusion angle converting means which converts a diffusion angle of incident light of light exited from the light emitting element, a beam splitter film having polarization selectivity, a light condensing means which condenses light on the information recording surface of an optical disk board 110, and a polarization separating part having a polarization separating function formed in the surface in which the polarizing state of incident light to the polarization separating part is converted into the linear polarization of nearly 45 deg.. Phases of spherical waves incident on the light condensing means by the diffusion angle converting means are arranged in order, an image forming spot to the optical disk board 110 is converged up to a diffraction limit, further the diffusion angle is converted by an NA converting means, the dispersion of the beam splitter films and the incident angles to the polarization separating part is reduced, and an optical, phase difference is lessened. |
