PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably correct printing colors of a printer. SOLUTION: In this color correction device, a first reference image 311 which is a natural picture is displayed on a display 91, a first test image 31 including the first reference image 311 and plural first alteration images slightly altering the color of the first reference image 311 is printed. A first alteration image, which has the best similarity in color of the first reference image 311 displayed on the display 91 is selected by an operator, and overall color correction in a color space is processed, based on the reference image 311 and the selected first alteration image. A monotone second reference image 321 is also displayed on the display 91, a second test image 32 which includes a second alteration image is printed, the second alteration image is selected. A partial color correction in the color space is processed, based on the second reference image 321 and on the selected second alteration image. Thus, the suitable correction of printing color of the printer is realized, using a simple technique. |
