PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem at the time of recording the real time data that a recording rate is lowered than the original value or recording data are interrupted at the worst, when the many recording errors are generated due to the defect on a disk such as scratch or fingerprint. SOLUTION: This method is constituted to provide the step to request the buffer revision for prompting the revision of the storage by depending on the data storage amount of a buffer memory for the temporary storage of the recording/reproducing data, the step to change the recording area for requesting the recording on the other recording areas from the present recording area when the revision of buffer is requested from the above step to request the buffer revision, and the step to request the correction of an input rate for requesting the change of the future input rate of the recording data from the present recording rate and the size of the expected recording area when the buffer revision is requested by the step to request the buffer revision or when the recording area is changed by the above step to change the recording area.
