PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly and speedily retrieve the time range of stored journal data. SOLUTION: It is possible to extract the pertinent date of the journal data added with the earliest date and time in the journal data stored in an electronic journal as the result of the electronic journal and to display the extracted earliest date and time on a display for an operator.
