WHITE, BIAXIALLY ORIENTED, FLAMEPROOF POLYESTER FILM WITH CYCLO-OLEFINIC COPOLYMER, METHOD FOR ITS MANUFACTURE AND ITS USE

PURPOSE: Provided is a biaxially drawn flameproof white polyester film having high gloss value easily producible at a low cost and reusable without changing the properties of the film by formulating a raw material reclaimed in the production process in an amount of 10-70 wt.% based on the film. CONSTITUTION: The biaxially oriented polyester film is composed of at least one layer. The film is composed of at least a base layer composed of a polyester and 4-60 wt.% cycloolefin copolymer based on the weight of the base layer. The cycloolefin copolymer has a glass transition temperature of 70-270 deg.C and the film contains at least one kind of flame-retardant.
