RECEIVER DRIER OF HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: A receiver drier of a heat exchanger is provided to braze a receiver drier in a furnace integrally with keeping a filter in the receiver drier of a heat exchanger and to prevent the filter from being carbonized or molten in the brazing process. CONSTITUTION: An upper and a lower filter(10,11) made by ceramic or activated carbon as well as a drying agent are mounted on an inlet pipe(7) in the center of a body(9) of a receiver drier(6). The lower portion of the filter(11) is hung to a hanging portion(13) of the inlet pipe. The filters are kept in each Al case having the outside cladded. A flange block is mounted on the lower portion of the body and welded by a welding ring. The receiver drier is brazed integrally in a furnace to fix the filters closely in the body. The ceramic or activated carbon filters have the filtering performance of 10-200 micrometers preferably. The receiver drier is brazed integrally with keeping the filters therein. Thereby, the filters are fixed closely in the body, and no gap is formed therebetween. In addition, the filters are not carbonized or molten in the brazing process for the filters are made by ceramic or active carbon.
