METHOD FOR CHECKING AND REPORTING POWER CONSUMPTION THROUGH THE INTERNET

PURPOSE: A method for checking and reporting the power consumption through the Internet is provided to accurately and rapidly check the power consumption by directly checking the consumption from a wattmeter through the Internet. CONSTITUTION: An Internet line is connected to a wattmeter. An identification number is given to the wattmeter. An Internet address of a user registered as an operator is registered. It is confirmed whether a check day is approaching. In case that the check day is confirmed, the power consumption recorded in the wattmeter is checked. The electric charges is calculated according to the amount of electric power used. User information is generated. The amount checked, the electric charges and the term used including the user information are recorded on a notice. The notice is reported to the Internet address of the user.
