LOW-IRRITANT LIQUID CLEANSER COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: A low-irritant liquid cleanser composition is provided, to reduce the irritation to the skin and improve the cleansing power. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 10 wt% or more of a high molecular weight alcohol-based anionic surfactant having a magnesium ion as a counter ion; and an amphiphilic surfactant having an amidopropyl group as an alkyl group. Preferably the molar ration of an anionic surfactant to an amphiphilic surfactant is 0.3:0.7 to 0.8:0.2. Preferably the anionic surfactant is represented by the formula 1 or 2, wherein R is an alkyl group of C8-C18 and n is an integer of 0-5; and the amphiphilic surfactant is represented by the formula 3:R1CONH(CH2)3N+R2R3CH2COO- or formula 4:R1CONH(CH2)3NR2R3O, wherein R1 is an alkyl group of C6-C18, and R2 and R3 are independent each other and are a methyl group, an ethyl group or an ethanol group.
