A software-based logic emulation system is made up of a combination circuit processor which emulates a combination circuit model or memory model, a number of multiple control processors which mainly emulate sequential circuit models and provide input signals to the combination circuit processor, and a number of multiplexers which select outputs of the combination circuit processor and deliver the selected outputs to the control processors.
