METHOD FOR PRODUCING ALKALOIDS FROM PLANTS USING SUPERCRITICAL FLUID

PURPOSE: A method for producing alkaloids from plants using supercritical fluid is provided, therefore, the alkaloids can be produced in higher yield. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing alkaloids from plants using supercritical fluid comprises the steps of: extracting alkaloids by mixing plants with 100 weight part of carbon dioxide and 1 to 20 weight part of alkalic co-solvent containing 2 to 18 (v/v)% of diethylamine or triethylamine in a supercritical extracting device at 70 to 90 deg. C and 4000 to 6000 psi, wherein co-solvent is at least one solvent selected from methanol, ethanol, water or their mixture; and isolating, filtering and purifying alkaloids by using chromatography.
