METHOD FOR ASSIGNING CHANNEL OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for assigning a channel of a mobile communication system is provided to integrate each channel assigning method of a PRACH(Physical Random Access CHannel) and PCPCH(Physical Common Packet CHannel) in 3GPP(3rd Generation Partnership Project) by using a signature of an access preamble and reduce the number of the whole scrambling codes required for channel assignment of the PRACH and PCPCH. CONSTITUTION: A data part is decided by nodes located at a branch starting from SFmin/2 node and passing a node applicable to a signature. A control part is assigned by SF=256 node over a branch connected to SFmin/2 not passing the branch where the former data is not located.
