PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to achieve an improved reliability of CRT by correcting, through a pair of auxiliary coils, magnetic field imbalance caused due to an asymmetric coupling between horizontal and vertical deflection coils. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke comprises a coil separator coupled to the screen surface of a CRT, and which is constituted by a neck part and a screen part; a horizontal deflection coil and a vertical deflection coil(20,30) arranged at an inner periphery and outer periphery of the coil separator, respectively, and which deflect electron beam in a horizontal direction and vertical direction; a magnetic field correcting unit for correcting the magnetic field produced by horizontal and vertical deflection coils; and a ferrite core arranged at the outer surface of the coil separator so as to reinforce magnetic field. The magnetic field correcting unit is constituted by a pair of auxiliary coils(100,200) arranged at the coil separator which is positioned in the vicinity of horizontal and vertical deflection coils corresponding to the screen part of the coil separator.
