The fixer consists of two steel plates, the upper plate (D) being 250 mm long, 150 mm wide, 5 mm thick and centrally slot-milled (S) to width 11 mm and 50 mm depth plus two boreholes (B) each of 10 mm diameter. The lower plate (E) is 250 mm long, 100 mm wide, 5 mm thick and also with two boreholes (B) each of 10 mm diameter. The boreholes (B) in both plates (D and E) lie 67.5 mm from the outer edge (width) and 55.0 mm from the outer edge (length) and the plates with their matching boreholes are superposed and welded together permanently. The bore holes (B) are for ground fixing and the slot (S) is inserted in the shuttering rear wall. The upper plate (D) guards against shuttering lift tendency during concrete pour and the lower plate (E) guards against displacement by horizontal force from side concrete.
