PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided, in which vertical deflection coil is firmly fixed through hook pieces and adaptor, to thereby achieve an in-advance prevention against screen distortion and reduce cost. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke comprises a coil separator(11) having a screen part, rear plate, and neck part extended integrally from the center of the rear plate; a horizontal deflection coil arranged along the inner periphery of the coil separator, and which forms magnetic field in a horizontal direction; a vertical deflection coil(13) arranged symmetrically along the outer periphery of the coil separator, and which forms magnetic field in a vertical direction; a vertical deflection coil support arranged at the outer periphery of the coil separator to be adjacent to the neck part and the screen part, and which prevents the vertical deflection coil from being flared outward; and a ferrite core coupled to the outer periphery of the coil separator so as to reinforce magnetic field. The vertical deflection coil support includes hook pieces(100,200) extended in parallel from the neck part side outer periphery of the coil separator to allow the vertical deflection coil to get caught at hook pieces; and an adaptor coupled to the screen part side outer periphery of the coil separator.
