PURPOSE: A system for remotely confirming present symptoms using a communication network is provided to easily deal with an emergency by continuously managing present symptoms of a patient through a communication network. CONSTITUTION: Portable pulse measuring instruments(111-11n) measure a patient's pulse. Medical information transmitter/receivers(131-13n) receive and temporarily store the number of pulse measured by the portable pulse measuring instruments(111-11n). In addition, the transmitter/receivers(131-13n) automatically respond the number of pulse stored according to an external request through a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network). A medical information management center(150) receives and temporarily stores the number of pulse of the patient stored in the transmitter/receivers(131-13n) through the PSTN. In addition, the center(150) transmits the number of pulse stored to a doctor.
