PURPOSE: A method and system for restoring a hard disc infected from viruses is provided to restore data and files by providing a virus diagnosis/treatment program to a special domain of the hard disc, and by diagnosing/treating viruses infected in a system domain and a data domain using the program in case that the files are destroyed. CONSTITUTION: It is judged whether a user inputs a restoration request signal(S210). A data restoration program is operated(S220). It is judged whether a system domain is infected from viruses(S230). In case that the system domain is infected, real data and files are restored(S240). It is judged whether the restoration of the data and the files is completed(S260). It is judged whether the data and the files restored are infected(S270). In case that the data and the files aren't infected, the data and the files are stored in a determined domain(S290). It is judged whether this process is completed(S300).
