PURPOSE: A method for preparing a fireproof spray-coating material is provided, which material is used for inhibiting the increase of temperature of a steel frame in firing and reducing the weight of building by reducing the thickness of a fireproof coating. CONSTITUTION: The spray-coating material is prepared by mixing an adhesive selected from the group consisting of a natural gypsum, and a mixture of a natural gypsum and cement; an insulating material selected from the group consisting of vermiculite, perite, pulp and rockwool; an additive comprising poly(vinyl alcohol), metal cellulose and lauryl; brucite whose combined water releasing temperature is low; and red mud whose combined water releasing temperature is high. |
