PURPOSE: A supplementary service system using an ADSL and a supplementary service processing method are provided to supply an ADSL service and a supplementary service in one network by using the existing telephone line at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A micro processor, a real time O/S, hardware, an AAL-5, and each affected protocol are initialized(S1 - S4). It is judged whether data are inputted to an Ethernet port and a serial port of an ADSL modem(S5). In case that data are inputted to the Ethernet port, an ADSL service program is driven(S6). In case that data are inputted to the serial port(S7), a supplementary service program is driven for supplying a supplementary service(S8).
