The meter (1) incorporates a housing (2) containing a sensor (23) between the window pane and a frame or frame-seal. The meter has a contact surface (12) and or one or more thrust pieces (21), and is placed with the contact surface ad or seal or thrust pieces against the frame and or in a sealing-groove so that the window pane when being raised runs over the sensor.
