PURPOSE: A gas valve detecting device is provided to check the state of a gas valve simply and conveniently with a mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A valve monitoring system is composed of a detecting sensor(10) detecting the opening of a gas valve; a timer(20); a bluetooth module(40) transmitting the opening state of the gas valve with a frequency signal; a keypad(60) setting a mode, and having a mode set button; light emitting diodes(51,52,53) displaying the set mode by the keypad; a light emitting diode driving unit(50); and a control unit(30) processing the mode setting through the keypad, and controlling data between the parts. The state of the gas valve is checked simply with the mobile communication terminal. The gas valve detecting apparatus prevents the accident by the gas leakage.
