PURPOSE: A can opening device is provided to lift and pull back a fitting unit of a grip conveniently by inserting a finger between a lid and the grip. CONSTITUTION: An elastic part(18) is formed between a fixing part of a grip(10) and a fitting unit(17), and made of elastic material. A space is formed between the fitting unit of the grip and a lid(2) of can by elasticity of the elastic part to put a finger under the fitting unit of the grip and to lift the grip conveniently. An elastic plate is formed in the can opening device to hold the grip contacted to the lid in parallel. The elastic plate is jointed with the lid under the fitting unit of the grip. The grip is lifted and pulled back conveniently with putting the finger under the fitting unit of the grip in widening a gap between the fitting unit and the can lid by elastic force of the elastic plate. The lower part of the fitting unit on the lid is pushed with putting the finger by the elastic plate.
