PURPOSE: A cathode ray tube is provided to reduce vibration of shadow mask and allow the inner shield to be mounted in a stable and easy manner. CONSTITUTION: A cathode ray tube comprises a panel(401) having a glass front surface with a fluorescent surface formed inside of the glass front surface; a funnel(406) coupled to the panel, and which has a plurality of necks with electron guns encapsulated in necks; a frame(404) attached to the inner surface of the panel; a shadow mask(403) fixed to the frame, and which has a plurality of effective surfaces(407) having a plurality of through holes for passage of electron beam, a peripheral portion(408) where through holes are not formed, and a boundary portion(409) arranged between effective surfaces and where through holes are not formed; an inner shield(405) arranged inside the funnel, and which shields geomagnetism; and one or more support members(410) arranged at the boundary portion of the shadow mask.
