PURPOSE: Output increasing device and method of an internal combustion engine are provided to increase output by increasing the rotational torque of a crankshaft without change in the stroke distance of a piston. CONSTITUTION: An internal combustion engine comprises a cylinder, a piston(10) reciprocating in the cylinder, a connecting rod(20) connected to the piston, an eccentric wheel(40) combined to the connecting rod, and a crankshaft(30') converting the reciprocation to rotation by rotating with response to the rotation of the eccentric wheel. Herein, the rotational torque of the crankshaft is increased while the stroke distance of the piston is maintained. Therefore, the output of the internal combustion engine is increased even without the increase of fuel consumption.
