摘要 The method involves heating a coolant solution to expel coolant vapor, condensing it to impart heat to a heating medium, feeding it to an evaporator and then to an absorber. Coolant-weak solution is fed to the absorber via a heat exchanger, combined with coolant from the evaporator and pumped to the boiler. The medium temperature and a coolant reservoir level are used to regulate the coolant concentrations of the coolant rich and weak solutions. The method involves heating a solution containing a coolant in a boiler (1) to expel coolant as vapor that is condensed (13) to impart heat to a heating medium and fed to an evaporator (11) and thence to at least one absorber (6). Solution with reduced coolant is fed to the absorber(s) via a heat exchanger (4) and combined with coolant from the evaporator then pumped (8) back to the boiler. The heating medium is fed from the condenser to the load and back to the condenser. The temperature of the medium and the level in a coolant reservoir (54) are measured and used to regulate the coolant concentrations of the coolant rich and coolant weak solutions.
