Data from vehicle side loading sensors is processed by computer using calibration curve produced from two different loading conditions, computed as loading weight values, which are visible across the indicating elements. Hand operated unit (5) has second transmitter (7) to receive and pass on electronically prepared data related to the loading of the vehicle. Loading data entered in the hand unit (5) across the data transmitter (7) is received by a storage memory of the process computer. The stored data is transmitted via data transmitter at data processing unit of fixed loading unit. The first and second transmitters are integrated one in the other.
