PURPOSE: A timer adjusting jig is provided to shorten working hours, to improve work efficiency and to adjust a timer with an accurate setting power by obtaining an optimal shim thickness. CONSTITUTION: A lower pressure side cover of a housing is removed, and a jig is mounted. Then, an initial value is set up without an adjusting shim and a mobile scale(15) of a rotor(10) and a stator(11) is calibrated. Upon rotating the rotor, a spring is compressed by a slider. Thus, a setting power is controlled and a desired displacement of a piston is obtained. The value indicated by the scale is the thickness of the adjusting shim. The scale of the rotor is measured by a unit 1/100mm. Thus, accurate measurement is possible. By mounting the lower pressure side cover after inserting the adjusting shim, adjusting of the setting power is completed.
