The turntable (3) acting as mover moves for one third or less than the indexing time to allow two or more machining operations to be performed on or in relation to the same work carrier (5) during the rest phase or again for one machining operation over half the rest phase. The movement phase of the turntable (3) and work module (8) are correlated to permit machining operations as specified during the resting phase. This movement phase should end just before machining starts on the carrier (5) and a machining step lasts more than two thirds of the rest phase. The turntable (3) drive (4) shaft revolves 360[deg] over one indexing step as compared with the turntable (4) movement accounting for 110[deg] of this movement. The working module (8) is coupled via hoist plate (15) or horizontal moving plate (14) to a cam disk drive set so a machining step on the plate (5) amounts to 20[deg] of the 360[deg] revolution of the drive shaft (4).
