摘要 PURPOSE: A triode structure field emission display is provided, in which an extraction electrode for controlling electron emission is formed around the anode, to thereby simplify structure and manufacturing procedures. CONSTITUTION: A triode structure field emission display comprises a front glass substrate(11) and a rear glass substrate(16) arranged to face each other with a predetermined spacing between two substrates; a cathode(15) formed onto the rear glass substrate; a carbon nano-tube(14) formed onto the cathode; an anode(12) formed onto the front glass substrate; a fluorescent body(13) formed at the anode; and an extraction electrode(21) formed at the front glass substrate in such a manner as to be spaced apart from the anode, and which excites the carbon nano-tube to emit electron.
