PURPOSE: A device for opening a lid of an electric pressure cooker is provided to promote the productivity of an electric pressure cooker by compacting structure and improving assembling efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A lid opening device of an electric pressure cooker includes: a cylindrical recessed groove(13) integrated with a body case; a fitting ledge(131) formed in the upper portion of the recessed groove; a push pin(30) having an annular ledge(301) to be settled in the recessed groove; a compression spring(34) fitted in the push pin; and a fixing ring(38) fitted in the fitting ledge to prevent the displacement of the push pin. The lid opening device is simply assembled by inserting the push pin in the recessed groove and fitting the fixing ring in the fitting ledge. Therefore, structure is compacted and the productivity of an electric pressure cooker is promoted.
