METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING THREE-DIMENSIONAL STARCHY FOAMED ARTICLE

PURPOSE: A device and a method for producing an environment-friendly shock absorbing material by using a starchy foaming agent. CONSTITUTION: For producing a three-dimensional shock absorbing material by using starch, starchy foamed material is prepared by heating and extruding a composition containing starch. A 0.5-10wt% hot-melt adhesive agent is added to 100wt% of the obtained starchy foamed material and starch. The mixture of the hot melt adhesive agent and the starchy foamed material is put into a mold to be heated and pressurized. For heating the material, a hot air generating heater is adopted. According to the biodegradability of the starch, an environment-friendly shock absorbing material is obtained. By adding sorbitol, transformation of the shock absorbing material is avoided.
