PURPOSE: A semi-router and Internet system using the same is provided to receive one line of an ISDN, a PSTN, a CATV modem, and a dedicated line and use the received one line as several lines. CONSTITUTION: A semi-router(10) has a plurality of LAN ports(11-1N) for connecting a LAN cable extended from a plurality of terminals(1-N), a multiplexer(21) for switching the connection of the LAN ports(11-1N), a CPU(23) and a LAN chip(22) for transmitting an electric signal transmitted from a public network to a provided IP, a ROM(24) for storing a certain algorithm executed for operating a system, a RAM(25) for temporarily storing data, a LAN port(26) for being connected with transmission parts of a DSL, a CATV, and a DBS(Digital Broadcasting Satellite), and a serial port(27) for being connected with transmission parts of an ISDN, or a PSTN and the DBS. A transmission equipment(30) is connected with the LAN port(26) or the serial port(27) of the semi-router(10) to be connected with a public network(40). An E-mail server(51) is installed the outside of the transmission equipment(30) for receiving all E-mail addresses and redistributing the received E-mail addresses to a plurality of IPs. A proxy server repeater(52) sets a specific IP.
