PURPOSE: A railroad tie by recycling scrap tires and a producing method thereof are provided to improve the recycling rate of resources by producing the railroad tie with scrap tires and to prevent the environmental pollution by blocking harmful components. CONSTITUTION: Treads are cut to many scrap tire pieces(1). The scrap tire pieces are formed in square pillars through a binder(2). A railroad tie body(3) is formed by compressing the scrap tire pieces in a forming compressor. An inclined face(5) is formed by cutting both ends of the railroad tie body. Insertion holes are formed inside the railroad tie body. Fixing bars are inserted in the insertion holes. A folding portion(4a) is formed by folding protruding ends of the fixing bars and sticking to the inclined face. Fixing holes to insert fixtures(6) are formed at the both ends of the railroad tie body.
