PURPOSE: A dual band antenna is provided, in which a reflector helical is inserted into the dielectric member in such a manner as to be disconnected from the antenna feed unit, and the external helical is fixed to the antenna feed unit, to thereby simplify the structure and broaden frequency band. CONSTITUTION: A dual band antenna comprises a dielectric member(3) having a bottom surface closed and attached onto a connector(2), and a top surface open, wherein the dielectric member has a space formed at an interior of the dielectric member; a reflector(4) wound in a spiral shape in the space formed at the interior of the dielectric member, and which has an end fixed to the bottom surface of the dielectric member; and an external helical(5) having an end wound into several turns along the outer periphery of the dielectric member, and the other end wound in a spiral shape and exposed from the top of the dielectric member. |
