The invention relates to an expansion chuck tool having a base body (2) that can be fixed to a work spindle of a machine tool. The inventive expansion chuck tool also comprises an expansion sleeve (5) which is inserted into said base body (2) and thus results in a closed annular space (7) or surrounds said body and is soldered to the base body (2) at least in the axial end regions (2) thereof. The expansion sleeve (5) and the base body (2) form a positive locking at least in the connection area which is not situated in the proximity of the work spindle. The components (2, 5) are fixed to each other in the radial direction by means of said positive locking.
