<p>The present invention relates to a method for the purification of waste water, wherein said method comprises repeating several times the following steps: feeding the waste water into a reactor (1); aerating the reactor content; interrupting the aeration process for allowing the sludge to settle; and extracting the purified water and the sludge. This method provides an increased yield by maintaining the reactor under a pressure which is higher than the atmospheric one during both the aeration and settling processes.</p> |
