CULTURING METHOD OF SNOWFLAKE CORDYCEPS

PURPOSE: A method for culturing snowflake Cordyceps is provided to grow enough hypha by absorbing or supplying water in silkworms by pine cones and to permeate the peculiar flavor of pine cones without sticking the silkworms to a culture plate. CONSTITUTION: Silkworms are placed on pine cones and steamed with high pressure. Snowflake Cordyceps is sprayed and cultured on the silkworms at 25deg.C for a week. The cultured snowflake Cordyceps generates fruit bodies(mushrooms) by irradiating 300lx of light for 20 days at 19deg.C with 95% of humidity. The abdominal side of the silkworms are floated on the pine cones and hypha are sprayed on the abdominal side. The pine cones absorbs and supplies water in silkworms to optimize the moisture condition of the silkworms.
