PURPOSE: A screen structure for color CRT and method for manufacturing screen is provided, in which metallic reflector film has an increased flatness so as to improve reflection effect of the metallic reflector film, to thereby achieve an improved luminance. CONSTITUTION: A screen of color CRT includes a panel where a black matrix(302), R,G,B fluorescent material layer(304), and metallic reflector layer(305) are sequentially formed at the inner surface of a panel(301). A white fluorescent material layer(303) formed of a mixture of a pre-coat solution and a white fluorescent material, is formed at the front surface of the panel where the black matrix is deposited, so as to compensate for the height difference between the R,G,B fluorescent material layer and the black matrix. The white fluorescent material layer is formed all over the effective surface where the R,G,B fluorescent material layer is formed, and the non-effective surface where the R,G,B fluorescent material layer is not formed.
