PURPOSE: A zone filtering unit is provided which not only removes impurities inside cooling water but also forecasts clogging of a cooling water nozzle by equipping a secondary filtering means refiltering cooling water supplied from a main filter part at a position adjacent to the branch zone of a cooling water supplying pipe. CONSTITUTION: In a cooling water treatment equipment consisting of a main filter part primarily filtering cooling water, a cooling water supplying pipe supplying cooling water primarily filtered at the main filter part and a branch zone which is divided so as to supply cooling water supplied from the cooling water supplying pipe to a plurality of nozzle parts, the zone filtering unit is equipped with a secondary filtering means refiltering cooling water supplied from the main filter part at a position adjacent to the branch zone of the cooling water supplying pipe, wherein the secondary filtering means comprises a first pipeline part(14) coupled to the cooling water supplying pipe by a coupling means; a second pipeline part(15) coupled to a position adjacent to the branch zone by a coupling means; a cooling water filter part(20) consisting of a cylindrical filter housing(16) which is made of a transparent resin material and installed between the first pipeline part and the second pipeline part, an entrance(17) and an exit(18) which are formed at the lower side of the filter housing and a mesh filter(19) which is inserted inside the exit so as to filter cooling water; a bypass pipeline part(21) which is connected to the entrance side of the first pipeline part and the exit side of the second pipeline part so as to bypass cooling water if necessary without passing through the cooling water filter part; first, second and third open-and-shut means(22,23,24) each of which are equipped at the center of the first and second pipeline parts and the bypass pipeline part so as to open or shut a flow of cooling water; and a first and second water pressure measuring parts(25,26) each of which are equipped at the entrance of the cooling water filter part and at the exit side of the first and second pipeline parts so as to measure pressures of cooling water.
