Centrifugal casting mold (10) comprises a housing (12) with an insert (16), and an end piece (22) having two tilting weights (26) radially arranged on the mold. The weights interact with the end piece in such a way that it secures the insert in the housing when the mold is rotated without coming into contact with the insert. An Independent claim is also included for a process for detaching an end piece from a centrifugal casting mold, comprising interacting a tool having a cylindrical base body with the region in such a way that the weights are tilted by inserting and/or rotating the tool.
